Slip2Stress
About
This MATLAB code implements the method of Ripperger and Mai (2004) to compute the static stress change on the fault due to slip on the same fault. While the widely used Okada-code achieves the same (and allows to compute the response in the entire medium), our FFT-based approach (following Andrews, 1980) is significantly faster and more efficient for computing the on-fault static stress change.
